The 2021 National Law Enforcement Commemorative Silver Dollar was officially issued by the U.S. Mint on January 28, 2021.
The U.S. Mint issued a National Law Enforcement Half Dollar, a $5 Gold coin and the Silver Dollar, all in Uncirculated and Proof versions. Therefore, the Mint struck a total of six different National Law Enforcement Commemoratives in 2021.
On the opening day of sales, the U.S. Mint sold the $1 Proof 2021-P National Law Enforcement Dollars at $74. The maximum authorized mintage was set at 400,000 for both the Uncirculated and Proof versions combined.
