In the year 2022, the U.S. Mint introduced the American Women Quarters Program. The program is scheduled for 4 years, from the years 2022 - 2025. The Mint will introduce up to 5 different reverse designs each year, which celebrate significant accomplishments or contributions made by women. The obverse of the quarters will feature a new George Washington’s depiction, which was introduced in 2022.

The first American Woman Quarter Program issued in the year 2022, was the Maya Angelou Quarter. The Mint began accepting orders for the Maya Angelou Quarter bags and rolls on February 07, 2022. It offered the following coin options -

100 - Coin Bag of P or D mint mark for $40 per bag

2 Roll Set P & D mint marks - (Each roll contained 40 coins) $36 a set

3 Roll Set P, D & S mint marks - (Each roll contained 40 coins) $54 a set
