David Hall:

There are two known proofs, both gems. One is in the Smithsonian. The other is in the Harry Bass collection and its pedigree includes Parmelee, Ten Eyck, Newcomer, Green, Farouk, and Norweb. Harry Bass purchased the coin from the Norweb auction in October, 1987 for $352,000.
