The 1861 Three Cent Silver is a common coin in Proof, thus the real challenge is finding one in nice condition with strong cameo contrast. Fewer than 15 precent of the examples certified thus far are considered Cameos. Deep Cameo examples are exceedingly rare because few Proofs of this date show heavy frosting.
