Jaime Hernandez:

The 1880-O 80/79 Morgan Dollar variety is a popular variety. Remnants of the 7 and 9 digits can be seen inside the 8 and 0 digits. The variety is fairly easy to obtain up to about MS63 condition. In MS64 it becomes much harder to find. And in MS65 or higher it is considered rare and it can be many years before an example in this condition shows up in the market.
