The 1914-S Dime has a nice, mid-range mintage for the series -- not too large and not too small. This date commands a premium in most grades, often double the type value. Mint State examples are fairly plentiful and are usually MS63 or MS64. Gem examples are scarce, but available for a price. Only in MS67 does this date become a condition-rarity and the finest example of which we are aware is the lone PCGS MS67 formerly in the Simpson Collection.
