The 1955-P Roosevelt Dime has the lowest mintage in the entire circulation strike Roosevelt Dime series. The only other lower mintage Dime in the series is the 1996-W Dime. However, the 1996-W Dime was only issued in 1996 Mint Sets and it was never issued for circulation.

The 1955-P Roosevelt Dime is easily obtainable in circulated grades and trades for about melt value only. In Mint State to MS64 grades they go for a slight premium but can still be easily aquired . In grades of MS65 to MS66 they are somewhat tougher to find but yet still obtainable, as there are several thousands in existence within these two grades ranges. In MS67 grade they become scarce, with a couple hundred examples or less in existence in this grade and higher.

Full Bands: With Full Band details the 1955-P Roosevelt Dime is very challenging to locate. It is much tougher to locate this date and mint mark with Full Bands details, than it is to find an MS66 grade coin (without the Full Bands). There are probably less than 500 examples that exist in all grades combined or less, with Full Bands details showing on the reverse of the coin. Most Full Bands examples of this date and mint mark probably fall in the MS64 to MS66 category. In MS67 with Full Bands details they are elusive and possibly no more than a dozen examples exist in MS67 FB or higher.
