The 1958 Proof Jefferson Nickel originated from the 1958 Proof Set issued by the U.S. Mint. The 1958 Proof Set contained a Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, Washington Quarter and a Franklin Half Dollar. All coins were struck in proof format displaying the year 1958 on each coin.
Most coins in the set were well struck, including the 1958 Proof Jefferson Nickel. Only in PR69 condition is it scarce. It is also scarce in PR68 condition with Cameo surfaces. And it is very scarce with Deep Cameo surfaces in any condition.
