Jaime Hernandez:

Most $5 Uncirculated Eagles tend to have mintages from around 200,000 to about 500,000, some dates less and other dates more. Therefore, the $5 1993 Uncirculated Gold Eagle is considered common with a mintage of about 210,000. Most examples come well struck and range from about MS68 to MS69 condition. In perfect MS70 condition they are much more difficult to find and command a significant premium.
