Jaime Hernandez:

In 2007 the U.S. Mint issued two different versions of the Uncirculated Silver Eagles. It issued this regular 2007 Uncirculated Silver Eagle and a 2007-W Uncirculated Silver Eagle which had the W mint mark. The 2007 Uncirculated Eagle was only offered to Mint Authorized Distributors in large quantities who in return sold them to collectors and smaller dealers to distribute to the public.

Most coins came in nice quality ranging from MS67-MS69 condition. Far less were of perfect quality deserving the MS70 grade but yet they are still somewhat easily available.
