The 2012-D Native American Dollars were offered by the U.S. Mint on April 26, 2012. The Mint offered the coins in 25 coin rolls, 250 coin boxes or in 500 coin boxes.

Obverse: The obverse has the same Sacagawea design that has been used since the year 2000.

Reverse: The reverse features a profile of a Native American next to his horse. In the background there are other horses running in the wild. The reverse has the inscriptions, "United States of America" and "$1."
