Jaime Hernandez:

The 2006-P Nickels weren't struck very well. Most coins had major nicks or scratches. It appears as if quantity was the main concern rather than quality when the coins were struck. Examples in circulated grades up t about MS64 condition can be easily found in circulation. Examples in MS65 required a lot of searching but yet possible to find them in rolls or possibly even in circulation. MS66 examples are scarce most of them probably coming from unsearched rolls or bags. In MS67 condition they are really scarce with less than a dozen known and none being graded finer.
