Jaime Hernandez:

The 1880 Indian Cent is one of the more common dates from the series. It has a mintage of over 38 million, making it very easy to obtain in most grades. In circulated grades it is extremely common. In Uncirculated grades it becomes scarce, especially if it displays Red Brown or Red surfaces. The highest known grade for this issue at PCGS is in MS67 condition. There are less than a handful graded at PCGS MS67 Red, with no coins graded higher.
