The Sheldon 25 (#35540) variety marks the debut of Obverse 8, a die also utilized for the Sheldon 26 (#35543). This obverse is easily identified by its wide date, characterized by a significant gap between the "17" and "94," and several hair strands that appear distinctly severed from one another. Additionally, the word LIBERTY is positioned notably high above the portrait's head.
Reverse D is distinguished by a very short fraction bar. The bar extends from the end of the "1" to roughly the center of the second "0." Another diagnostic feature includes two minute, dot-like berries located at the upper leaf stem on the left side.
