The Sheldon 62 (#35648) variety introduces Obverse 30, which is unique to this marriage, paired with Reverse EE (carried over from S-61, #34645). Noyes describes the hair detail on this obverse as "heavy and stubby" at the lower lock—notably the thickest lower lock found on any 1794 cent variety. While typical examples exhibit a large rim break, specimens with a perfect obverse are also known. The reverse diagnostics remain identical to S-61: the final "0" of the fraction is punched noticeably high, and the right stem is significantly shorter than the left.
